The base level Sentra 2.0 is equipped standard with a 6-speed manual transmission but is available with the same Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) that is found on all the other 2.0 trim levels. When paired with the CVT, each 2.0 trim averages 27mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway.
Meadowlands Nissan shoppers looking for a bit more oomph and athleticism should check out the top two trims. The SE-R boasts a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 177 horsepower paired with an Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, while the SE-R Spec V further ups the ante with a 200 horsepower 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission with dual-mass flywheel.
